This is our Business Principal,
Chris Rose, who is also the Managing Director of the Urban Forestry Organisation Limited. (and yes, he still works
for a living!)
Chris obtained a degree in Forestry
from Aberdeen University in 1969. He became a member of
the Institute
of Chartered Foresters in 1982 and has acted as a mentor for candidates wishing
to take their Part II entry examinations, in the arboriculture specialism, for membership of that Institute. Chris
is also a member of the Society for the Environment and thus is a Chartered Environmentalist. In addition Chris is
a member of the Confederation of Forest Industries and the Royal Forestry Society. He has worked
in both the private and public sector gaining a wealth of experience in Arboriculture, Forestry and Landscape
Management. He has over thirty eight years experience working with trees in Milton Keynes and has received two
Centre of Excellence Awards from the Forestry Authority for his arboricultural and landscape work in that
town.
The
services we can offer
We are a
multidisciplinary team of Foresters, Landscape Designers, Landscape Managers and Ecologists. We operate all over
the south of England and north as far as the River Humber from our base in Milton
Keynes.
We specialise in
preparing tree surveys in accord with BS 5837 for large and small developers. Our minor works, so to speak, are
tree hazard assessments, landscape design, implementation and management, landscape hardworks, fencing and
ecological surveys.
