The Arboricultural Method Statement
The Arboricultural Method Statement defines
how the development works are to be controlled to minimise the risk of damage to the trees which are to be
retained.
The
design and construction detail of the Tree Protection Fencing will be prescribed as will the notices, stating
'Construction Exclusion Zone - Keep Out', which are to be attached to the fencing.
Site
work methodology statements will include such items as
·
The appointment of a retained
Arboriculturalist for the duration of the work
·
The requirements of any supplementary
planning guidance
·
The location and construction of
temporary car parking
·
Materials storage areas and concrete mixing
areas
·
The prohibition of fires on the
site
·
The need for maintenance of the Tree
Protection Fencing and the sequence of operations to be followed should the Tree Protection Fencing need to
be relocated
·
The protection of the ground
surface
·
The protection of other landscape features
and spaces for new planting
·
The method by which exposed roots should be
protected and/or pruned
