Tree Work Applications where Trees are subject to Planning
Constraints
We are experienced in making applications to Local Authorities for works
on trees which are within Conservation Areas or are by Tree Preservation Orders.
Such works may be necessary to improve the health and safety aspects of
certain trees or to deal with structural defects thus prolonging the useful life of the tree.
As part of this process we will provide specialist tree surgery advice and
document the aim of the work, provide a shedule of the work and a specification which will accord with BS 3998
Recommendations for Tree Work.
We are able, if required, to supervise and manage tree work contractors on
behalf of the client so that standards are maintained and value for money is obtained.
We do not undertake tree surgery works directly
ourselves.
In addition to the Conservation Area and Tree Preservation Order
applications we can provide the following
- Tree felling and pruning specifications
- Felling licence applications to the Forestry
Commission
- Specifications for clearance work in relation to utility
services
- As part of the planning process make recommendations relating to tree
removal and replacement planting
- Provide management plans for individual trees or groups of
trees
- Respond appropriately to planning conditions
